Proven in practice
Pilot results of the GGS programme
From 17 August to 18 September 2026, PERFECTUS Institute trialled the Music-Movement-Memory programme in care homes, a day centre and an association in the Gorizia region and the Vipava Valley. The results confirm that the programme is safe, feasible and well received across functionally diverse groups of older adults.

What worked best
Rhythmic and choreographic activities, seated exercises, coordination games, ball exercises, strength tasks, get-to-know-you games, and cognitive and collaborative tasks adapted to the group's abilities. Music consistently supported motivation and participation.
What we're improving
For every activity we offer a seated or supported variant, instructions are given briefly and step by step, standing choreographies and direction changes are adapted to the group, and music volume and tempo are matched to participants' hearing.
