Perfectus Institute

Who we are

Perfectus Institute is a space where knowledge, research, education and development initiatives come together. Our work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when professional expertise, a research-based approach and practical experience are brought into a coherent whole.

PERFECTUS Institute, so.p., is a private social institute based in the Vipava Valley. It was founded with a clear mission: to provide professional and scientifically grounded support to individuals and communities facing life's challenges.

Our work is based on interdisciplinary links between kinesiology, gerontology, communication science and social research. We develop sustainable solutions that promote a healthy lifestyle, prevent cognitive and physical decline, and strengthen intergenerational solidarity.

Our principles

  • Expertise and research: All our services are grounded in proven findings and research.
  • Social responsibility: As a social enterprise, we return value to the local and wider community.
  • A holistic approach: Body, mind and social inclusion are always treated as a whole.

The institute's direction

Mission and vision

Our mission and vision stem from a wish to create a space where knowledge is not merely information but becomes a tool for the development of individuals, organisations and the wider community.

Mission

Perfectus Institute's mission is to create an encouraging environment for education, research, personal and business growth, and the development of initiatives that have a positive impact on individuals, organisations and society. Through professional content, projects, consulting, research and publishing, we develop solutions that are useful, ethical and long-term in outlook.

Vision

Perfectus Institute's vision is to become a recognised development and research centre that brings together experts, researchers, entrepreneurs and individuals seeking progress. We want to help create a space where knowledge is turned into real improvements in work, organisation, social relationships and quality of life.

We believe sustainable development is possible where knowledge, responsibility, cooperation and a readiness to create real change come together.

Governing bodies

Professional guidance

Perfectus Institute's governing bodies are responsible for professional guidance, development planning and the quality delivery of the institute's activities. Their task is to connect content areas and ensure the institute's coordinated development.

Social enterprise

Social impact and local partnership

As a social enterprise, PERFECTUS Institute measures success not only by financial sustainability but above all by social impact: greater inclusion of older adults, the preservation of their physical and mental vitality, and reduced loneliness.

We develop our services in cooperation with local stakeholders in the Gorizia region and the Vipava Valley: care homes, pensioners' associations, universities of the third age, health and social care institutions, and day activity centres. In 2026 we trialled the Music-Movement-Memory programme at four locations with 75 participants.
