Who the Music-Movement-Memory programme is for
GGS is a modular music-movement-cognitive programme for older adults 65+. It is designed for older adults and their families, as well as organisations working with older people: care homes, pensioners' associations, universities of the third age, day centres and municipalities.
Older adults and their families
Safe, enjoyable and adapted to your abilities
Sessions bring together music, movement, simple cognitive tasks and social contact. Every exercise can be done seated or supported by a chair, and the facilitator adjusts the pace to the group. The programme is non-competitive and requires no prior experience.
- for active older adults who want to stay vital and curious
- for older adults with early mobility limitations or uncertain balance
- for older adults who want to strengthen memory and attention
- for those who miss company and regular social contact
Care homes, associations, universities of the third age and day centres
A professionally led programme that complements what you already offer
The programme does not replace existing activities — it adds content and structure to them. We select the module that suits your group and deliver it in your own premises.
- You provide: a suitable room with chairs, a contact person and, where needed, staff support.
- We provide: a trained facilitator, music, equipment (balls, bands, sticks, rhythm props) and session facilitation.
- After delivery you receive a short implementation report and a proposal for further cooperation.
- The recommended cycle is 4 to 8 sessions, once or twice a week.
Municipalities and health and social care institutions
Prevention, social inclusion and local development
PERFECTUS Institute is a social enterprise. The programme supports healthy and active ageing, reduces loneliness and strengthens the connectedness of local communities in the Gorizia region, the Vipava Valley and beyond.
- a preventive programme for maintaining physical and mental vitality
- can be delivered in municipal and community venues
- cooperation in informing and involving older adults
- pilot results are made publicly available
